In his words….

“I came across the original record while I was digging for Middle Eastern music. It had this very energetic and sort of heroic vibe to it. There are a lot of emotions going on throughout the whole song. I just couldn’t get enough of it. So I decided to sample the main parts and completely flip it. I wanted to emphasize the energetic part while making it more mysterious. My goal was to turn it into something new rather than just make it dancefloor friendly. The sample was tough but very fun to play with.”
