Sonar Kollektiv needs no introduction, founded in 1997 by “Jazzanova” as a platform for own releases it soon attracted numerous new discoveries and like-minded musicians to illustrate the musical taste of the collective, its flavourful development, and recollection of past sounds. They are celebrating their 21st birthday with a massive compilation from their back catalog consisting of two volumes with a total of sixty tracks covering releases from the last two decades that showcase their wonderfully broad approach to A&R.

With this colossal compilation, it was a challenge to choose our favorite track and in the end, our personal selection deviated towards “Mooryc’s – One day” and “Jules et Spatz” or otherwise well known as “Jimi Jules & Kalabreses” has bought this song to the dancefloor with their remix.
