After releasing critically lauded music on the likes of Hypercolour, Losing Suki, and Join Our Club, the artist is also known as “Craig McNamara” withdrew from the limelight almost as quickly as he had appeared on the scene.

Now he returns with a different perspective with this debut LP. Previously drawing upon his formative influences, from rock to rave and the dancefloor sounds of the 90s, this new phase sees the producer crafting an album which instead looks to the stillness and scope of his surroundings to inform his sound, adding further sonic inspiration gleaned from contemporary sound designers like Barker, DJ Koze, Midori Takada, Floating Points, and Robag Whrume.

‘Kissing Stones’ is a stirring body of work which nestles moments of warm intimacy within sweeping sonic vistas. It is the manifestation of his personal tone and serves to further cement the indisputable fact that House, Techno, and their progeny have outgrown the clubs where they were birthed, to crawl into the public consciousness as the contemporary soundtrack which punctuates the modern condition.
