Swiss artist and composer Pyrame presents the first release on his new label, Thisbe Recordings, offering up a brand new and evocative EP that will be followed by a remixes package including Radial Gaze, Days of Being Wild, Local Suicide and Skelesys.

Pyrame is the embodiment of an artist who has traveled the world and was an investment banker and physicist who spends time at a quiet family home in the south of France where he makes his music. His debut EP ‘A Fine Life’ came in June 2019 on HIFI/LOFI Records, and was a standout synth-/electro-/cosmic-pop package with French pop influences, strong beats, and a touch of disco. His second EP provides a darker and more electro-tinged sound that connects the themes Pyrame likes to approach in his music: relationships, freedom, life, and love.

Our selection from this exquisite french musician is the excellent opener Colours à l’infini’, Pyrame explores the theme of love, declaring it with a song about life being more colorful when being with the right one. This single features a balance of epic brightness on the one hand and fairly darker and melancholic moods on the other hand, which unfolds Pyrame’s own interpretation of a love story.
