Mother Recordings welcomes back returning label artists Mat.Joe and Superlover.
Mat.Joe the Berlin based duo are one of the most talked about on the circuit at the moment with releases on Toolroom, Hot Creations, as well as Mother in the last 6 months. They also received a best newcomer nomination in the recent DJ Awards for Ibiza and have also had two number 1 Beatport Tech House Hits in 2016.
Superlover, born and raised in Berlin, draws his influences from the likes of DJ Sneak, Ian Pooley, and later Daft Punk and their associated artists. As part of the Mother Recordings family, he gave us the much-acclaimed “Steam” in 2014. At the start of 2015, “Love Me” ruled many house dancefloors globally, and its success was a precursor of what would come later that year. His summer 2015 anthem “Love Machine” jumped straight to the top of the Deep House charts, sustaining its ranking for over a month in the top 3.

A set rich in energy, tantalising and highly contagious. The pieces are filled with mysterious groove, as well as many layers that provide depth as they progress. Variations and lightness, journeying from a rather retro disco to minimalistic fields. Full spectrum of frequencies, with low drums and synths that linger, offering a crescendo that enchants our perception. Hard not to get captured by their most energising and driving beat.
