In Meyrink’s Golem is read that everything on earth is nothing but an eternal symbol clothed in dust and Lovecraft’s apocryphal Necronomicon that it is not death which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death might die. This piece is a proof of the hopeless, but, in the same way the doomed Raven of Poe is found beautiful, these unsettling notes are a charm to the soul. The world is many times a shadowy place, and man enjoys within his narcissism to see a hint of himself reflected on the mirrors of art.
