J’emballe Jean is the meeting of two sound engineers sharing the love of synths. One day they had fun plugging their analog gear and improvising what has become today a strong techno live set. Sometimes they took some parts of it to produce deep house textured tracks, that’s how Kaya EP has been made. Kaya starts with a gloomily loop that rises until a smooth and atmospheric break provided by melancholic chords. A fat kick brings to the second part energy and emotional highlight. Sailor gets a groovy side with percussion hand-played and the few notes from the bass had power to the rhythm. Hypnotic arp and ghostly choir complete this mystic journey.
