Naive is once again asking you to check this incredible debut on the label, this time by Dutch duo of Surinamese descent, Black Cadmium. Joginda Macnack and Mike Richards are two vinyl-digging, deck-dominating, and gem-producing aces from Rotterdam, a city chock-full of rave liturgy. Remember dancefloors? Well, Black Cadmium released some serious dancefloor heat on labels such as Vault Wax, Josh Wink’s Ovum, and Carista’s United Identities since dropping their debut via DJ Pierre’s Afro Acid label offshoot Afro Deep last year.

On “Chemistry EP”, Joginda and Mike show some real range and concoct one of our most varied offerings yet: slowed-paced, Bristolian bass & soul; West London beats circa 00; M1 motorway rave bangers and austere Chicago acid all find their way into this unusually accomplished display of eclecticism.

We are delighted to premiere the explosive jungle techno vibes of “Sexy Acid” combining classic breaks, 303, and booming 4/4 beats to flush all serotonin reserves down the pipes and keep ravers howling.
