Fired up on high energy Electrons, Timothy Clerkin’s imprint Insult To Injury (the label he runs with perennially on-point platform Ransom Note) is back with another arsenal of acid-tinged techno firearms. Manchester’s own Buran light the Bunsen burner & get things superheated with their analog heroics. The two originals comprised in this EP are borne from live jams, with minimal adjustment before going to press.

First out the blocks are “Beta”, employing a monster low end 303 and analog percussion to create a menacing floor destroyer. This savage assault is quickly followed by Kincaid’s re-imagining of the track – slowed down and, for want of a better the phrase, like, totally dubbed out and stripped out of its original context.
