Madrid’s label Rotten City owned by Álvaro Cabana, presents a new volume of its compilation Rotten Citizens, in which, as usual, tracks by both by ‘newcomers’ (Marko East, Erel, Peaces, Lebollet, Silicodisco, BillyonAir, John Patter, Telesketch or Alvee & Javier Martinez) and some ‘usual suspects’ (Two Mamarrachos, JackWasFaster, Elfenberg, Colossio, Daniel Monaco & Futuristant, Marching Machines, or Zakmina) are included. A lot of different flavors from different places.

A good example is ‘Kebabsyra’, signed by Elfenberg. This dark yet enchanting saga by the Swedish duo has valued ethnic psychic strings and fierce percussions which carry their story through the middle eastern mirage.
