The next release from Melomana Records, reference number 41, brings us a long-awaited EP titled “Equinox” from established Lithuanian producer John Patter. This new work reaffirms his dominance in the label and his continued evolution in the contemporary electronic scene. Composed of four songs, “Equinox”, “Isolation”, “Easter” and a remix of “Easter” by Wolg, this EP promises to be a gem for the most demanding club music lovers. “Easter”, offers a different perspective within the same soundscape. Although it maintains the characteristic rhythmic power of Patter, it introduces lighter and brighter melodies that contrast with the previous songs. It is a piece that perfectly balances aggressiveness and luminosity, creating an almost ritualistic atmosphere. Wolg’s remix of “Easter” closes the EP with a flourish. Wolg takes up the main elements of the original song and adds his personal touch, intensifying the more psychedelic and experimental aspects.
