Modula is proud to present its sixth release, “YAR Remixes”, the remix of the original album by Voltage Controlled Illusion, the label’s founding duo with Flamme and Yerno Vil as protagonists.

While the original contains the traces that mark the label’s sonic direction from its foundations, composed through machines in an artisanal process of sound design, sequencing and arrangements, YAR Remixes is the work of ten creative minds that reformulate the narrative, functional and expressive character of each track.

We bring you an album that has been dissected, reworked and reinterpreted by huge international artists carefully selected to expand the sound spectrum of YAR. We have the presence of Álvaro Cabana (Rotten City Records), Playa del Karma (Logia Records), Tucu (Tucu) (Katarsis Electrónica), Cosmosolar (Modula, Phisica), Vleks (Chaos Candance), Ricardo Ruben (Playground Records), Perrone (Disco Halal), Prinze (Epicure Music), Gueva (Jeahmon, Phisica) and Mistery Kid (Femnoise Records).

Each of them develops a natural appropriation, turning each of the album’s sonic insignia towards diverse aesthetic destinations that include traces from acid house to industrial techno, all based on the original indie dance retro character of the progressive school.
