Mix Number 10 in the Sinchi & Friends series is the Jack Pattern . We’re delighted to have them involved after admiring and playing a lot of their recent productions. Furthermore, we hearing from many friends that Zurich is the place to be at the moment and we bet these guys must be one of the main reasons why….

Introducing

1) Who are you? & 2) How would you describe your sound?

We are Jack Pattern. We would die for the moment of oscillating waves. Its not about purism, its about playing what we feel: rush and euphoria or total confusion. Deep acidic raw cosmic or dark triply industrial techno, or more hybrids and mutants of legendary music. We call it an eclectic lifestyle. Lustpoderosa is our own little vinyl establishment. 

3) What are your plans for 2016?
We have Lustpoderosa 003 and we’re also working on Lustpoderosa 004. Plus some other releases coming up on other nice labels. so we’re gonna be making music this year. A lot…

4)Which track in the mix is your favourite right now?

We really like UnknownmiX – Chew The Gun. Actually we had the honor to meet Magda Vogel and Ernst Thoma from UnknownmiX, they are also from Zurich and we really respect and admire their music. 

5) What was the last record you bought?

Kris Baha (Powerstation) really cool music and a nice person too.

6)What is your favourite track of the last 12 months?

7) Favourite out of genre music? Real Bird Chirping

8) Late nights or early mornings? We like to go up early and sleep late. So we have enough time for all the stuff we like to do.

9) Favourite mix of Oscillators? We love our Modularsystem with some very different OSCs. It can get very rude. But the most powerful is our Prophet 5. Crazy thing!

10) 606 , 707 , 808 or 909 … Or something else ? DMX , SP12 …. We love all Roland Drum Machines, but we prefer DMX, Linn Drum and our Forat 9000. We just played Live with the Forat 9000. What a blast.

11) One thing you’d most like to change about the world? There are plenty things we should change in this world. If we could change minds with music we would be already very happy. Music is so unpolitical this times. This is so lame!

12) Favourite art besides music?  All kind of performances: dance and art. Big support for our Locals heroes Thomas Hirschhorn and Pippilotti Rist! These people is doing it very well! 

13) Where / Is there a line between creativity and insanity? We actually don’t know. We’re still trying to find out. We are obsessed, this is for sure 🙂
