Sinchi & Friends 67 – Justine

We’re delighted to feature DJ, Producer and Vocalist Justine in the Sinchi & Friends series. Known for both her solo work and being one half of Permanent Wave and lead singer of Bagarre Perdue.  Heavily inspired by her love for punk, her music is raw, exciting and always surprising.

One of them : Miss Kittin & The Hacker, I saw them live in 2009 in Lyon. Since then they remain one of my inspirations.

Otherwise I’m quite into punk (punk inspired) female like Siouxsie, Bikini kill, The Slits, Kas Products to name few.

Lalo also known as Eddy Mercury, he did some guitar parts for my album and he’s also working on a wonderful album, quite ‘pop’ rock. Simply beautiful.

Veneno, he’s an amazing producer and dj.

Idolos Futuros, it’s a live duo from Rodion and Mijo, I saw them few time playing their live, they’re total fire !

10) What is your favourite and or Venue / Festival to play at and why?

My favourite venue is Normandie, here in Mexico City.

The place itself is very simple, huge basement with concrete walls, they have a really good sound system and the crowd is just awesome, you can feel they are there for the music.
